About the time I realised this series was going to be upwards of ten parts, I figured it was time to make an actual series page for it. (Mostly to ease the strain on the chapter word-counts, because that listing at the end of every chapter/fic was getting a...little long.)
§ Part One: What Have We Become
One of Feemor's greatest regrets, was that he never had the chance to get to know his brother-padawan, but the Force is willing to give him one more chance. And maybe, if he's lucky, he can finally make amends with his former master and save them all in the process.
Alternate Universe, Time Travel Fix-it, character suffering from PTSD, jedi are terrible at all relationships, war flashbacks, angst, hurt/comfort, found family, jedi families, Qui-Gon's trying, Obi-Wan needs a hug, Feemor needs a hug, everyone gets a hug (eventually)
Chapters: 1-So Much For 'Ever After', 2-One Day Changes Everything, 3-Never Thought You'd See the Day, 4-Looking Through Distorted Eyes, 5-Now We Are What We Have Become
§ Part Two: We Start and End With Family
Qui-Gon had been mostly joking when he'd originally brought up the idea of a lineage dinner, but when his former padawan grabbed for the idea with both hands and a desperation Qui-Gon didn't understand (and privately hoped he never would), he knew he would never be able to refuse.
Alternate Universe, Time Travel Fix-it, jedi are terrible at all relationships, angst, hurt/comfort, jedi families, character with clinical depression, non-binary character, this whole lineage needs a hug, Qui-Gon lives
§ Part Three: Nothing in This Soul Left to Save
On his way out of the Temple after tendering his resignation to the Jedi Council, Dooku is stopped by the last member of his lineage he would have expected.
Alternate Universe, Qui-Gon Lives, time travel, Fallen jedi, jedi families, Dooku's a dick
§ Part Four: I Don't Want Perfect
Ace challenges Qui-Gon to a duel and Kei finds out and drags Feemor to watch. The duel between his master and padawan ends about the way Feemor had expected it to, but everything after that is a bit of a surprise.
Alternate Universe, Qui-Gon Lives, time travel, jedi families, character with PTSD, nonbinary character, asexual character, sex repulsed character, lightsabre duels, hurt/comfort, hugs for everyone
§ Part Five: Seen Our Share of Hard Nights
Feemor has long being a proponent of speaking to mind healers when meditation wasn't enough to work through a traumatic experience. Now if he can just get Obi-Wan and Anakin to see the sense in it, too...
Alternate Universe, Qui-Gon Lives, time travel fix-it, jedi families, angst, hurt/comfort, therapy, past trauma, Obi-Wan needs a hug, Anakin needs a hug, they both get hugs
§ Part Six: Where You're Gonna Find Yourself
It's time for Obi-Wan to decide which path he'd like to follow was a jedi knight, but a choice that should have been simple has been complicated by the sith's return, and he's no longer certain that being a diplomat should be his path.
Alternate Universe, Qui-Gon Lives, time travel fix-it, jedi families, angst, hurt/comfort, past trauma, Feemor needs a hug, Obi-Wan needs a hug
§ Part Seven: Start of Something Good
When Feemor warned the Council that a jedi had died, he couldn't have known what they would uncover. (Even if he kind of had.)
Alternate Universe, Qui-Gon Lives, time travel fix-it, jedi families, canonical character death, we stan Mace Windu in this house, the clones deserved better, Jango deserved better, character with PTSD, the Kaminoans are the worst, mentions of child experimentation, Force-sensitive clones
Chapters: 1- I Know It's Gonna Take Some Time, 2- I'm Gonna Say What I Need to Say, 3- Oh But I'm Starting to Believe
§ Part Eight: Now I Fly
Feemor made a promise to Anakin, that he would do what he could to free his mother. With the money and a place to live sorted, all he needs now is someone to go and get her. And there are few beings he'd trust more with such a task, than his former padawan, Ace.
Alternate Universe, Qui-Gon Lives, time travel fix-it, jedi families, angst, hurt/comfort, non-binary character, character with claustrophobia, slavery, OC/OC relationship
Chapters: 1- A Scream Inside We All Try to Hide, 2- Like a Bird Set Free
TV Shows & Films Fanfiction Masterlist
Series summary: Feemor, Qui-Gon Jinn's first padawan, did not survive Order 66, but the Force granted him a boon: A chance to go back to days before Qui-Gon's death.
He doesn't know why the Force picked him to remember that terrible future, but he's going to do what he can to change it. And if he can heal the rift fallen between himself and Qui-Gon, and finally get the chance to know Obi-Wan, well, he's not about to turn that down.
Ships: Background OC/OC ships, lots of platonic between canon characters and OCs
General Warnings/Tags: AU — Time Travel Fix-It, Qui-Gon lives, post Order-66, pro-jedi order, jedi lineages are families, character with PTSD, character with clinical depression, pro-therapy, queer characters (asexual, transgender, bisexual, others), everyone needs a hug/everyone gets a hug, Force-sensitive clones
