Love the conversation at your table with your mom and sister. Kinda sounds like when my parents and I are eating spaghetti or rice and we start talking about worms and maggots. I love my family <3

Meals with my mum and sister are always sort of cracked out. Less so with my father, but that's because the telly's always on while I'm eating with him. :|

*laughs* Can you remember exactly how that happened? Just seem random going from mashed taters to cannibalism...unless has something to do with taters looking like something from the human body o_O

I'm really good friends with my biology teacher from high school and maaaaan do we have some entertaining conversations as well. Bahaha...

It was... My sister decided she didn't want the last of her mashed potatoes, she she was gonna put them back in the bowl. Which somehow devolved into a discussion about potatoes eating each other. And then I started wondering what you call it when two equally sentient races try eating each other, whether it's still cannibalism, or something else entirely... Cue minor philosophical debate, which involved Loki, because that's how my brain rolls. It ended with Monty Python, somehow.
I really... I don't know.

Oh, man. Biology teachers are so much FUN. Chemistry teachers, too, though those conversations usually end with something blowing up. Not that there's anything wrong with that! XD

Bahaha. My biology teacher was epic in school! Still is...and even better when not in the class room. haha And my Chemistry teacher, sometimes still talk to him, was so awesome. Though...no explosions *pouts* Blowing something up...totally thought of the Weasley twins right there >.

Actually, I think it had something to do with the Spanish Inquisition, but I can't remember. One of the skits, at least. (Maybe it was the dead parrot skit? That would have worked out well, considering...)

I admit, I haven't really spoken to any of my old teachers since leaving school. But I moved to another city, and then the cool ones all retired before I moved back, so... Eh. Missed fun.

Well...I suppose helps that my biology teachers has become a really good friend...and helped that I helped build her cabin after I graduated from high school >.>;

Mmmm... We had to order them special from somewhere, I think? I dunno. My sister and some friends did the Spanish Inquisition for Halloween one year, so we're all intimately familiar with that skit. ^.^"

That...yeah. That would help further a friendship beyond the classroom. :)
