Summary: When Palpatine dies unexpectedly a year after the invasion of Naboo, the jedi must scramble to pick up the pieces of a grand plan now in shambles. Can Obi-Wan, and his newly-discovered padawan-brother Feemor, be the key to healing the old wound between the Jedi Order and Mand'alor Jango Fett?

A/N: For day 7 of JangObi Week, the prompt is happy ending. I also gave myself a challenge to write only ace!Jango for this week.
Look, there was absolutely zero chance of me letting Palpafucker survive for a 'happy ending' prompt. (Not that I'm usually inclined to let him survive. Seriously, fuck that guy. And not in any way that would be fun for him. Why do I always get the urge to replay Molag Bal's questline from Skyrim when I think a variation on that line?)

Apparently, I'm dragging my boy Feemor into today's fic. For those unfamiliar with him, he's a one-off Legends comic's character who was Qui-Gon's padawan before Xanatos (he of Jedi Apprentice fame). I've built a pretty extensive backstory for him in my Make a Brand New End series, but you don't need to be familiar with that for this. His current padawan learner, Wangui, also makes an appearance. She's an OC, but all you really need to know about her is she's precious and deserves the galaxy. (Shut up, do not judge my love for Feemor's lineage.) Aliche13 did fanart of her over on tumblr.
Rael Averross, from Master & Apprentice gets a mention, but doesn't make an actual appearance. (I usually ignore his existence entirely, as I didn't much care for that book, and still haven't listened to Dooku: Jedi Lost, but the turn the story took required I at least acknowledge he exists.)

Mando'a is hover-text enabled, with translations in the separate glossary post. Some blocks of conversation that are had in Mando'a, are bolded and written in English, partially to save me the effort of translation, partially to save you all the effort of dealing with entire conversations that you have to find the translation for.
