A/N: This is the start of a fairly regular letter exchange between Ed and Roy, which lasts for the next couple chapters. Because of how I decided to offset letters in this fic, they fit in a bit awkwardly in some places, and I apologise for that, but that's how I'd started doing it, and I have no interest in re-figuring earlier chapters so a couple letters are a little bit less awkward, sorry-not-sorry. :P
Just as a note, because I got a number of requests last chapter: There will NOT be additional scenes from other characters' PoVs for this fic. Everything will be seen through Ed's eyes. (This fic is long enough without you bottomless pits trying to get more. Anyway, I'd have to give up my update schedule, and I know none of you really want to go from every other day updates to maybe once a week updates. XP)
