RESOURCE: JangObi Week fics Glossary of non-Galactic Basic terms ~ Star Wars

Because some of the glossaries of Mando'a (& other non-Basic languages) got rather long for this week, I decided to just compile the whole lot into one post and have all of the fics for this Ship Week refer to it.

Words are in alphabetical order, so it shouldn't prove too hard to find the one you're looking for.

Mando'a Glossary

ad — child, singular
adiike — children between the ages of 3 and 13, plural
ad'ika — child, singular, fond form
aliik — sigil, clan symbol
aliit — family, clan
Alor'ika — little/dear leader; 'alor', meaning leader, with the diminutive suffix which implies familiarity, or is used with children; Boba mostly means it fondly, but there is some teasing in the history of his using it for Din
aruetii — foreigner (can also mean traitor, although that is not the intended use in this fic)

ba'buir — grandparent
beskar'gam — Mandalorian armour (specifically, although it is often used to mean all armour, as there isn't a non-beskar related word for metal)
